I am so excited to be a part of the New Hope Childcare family for this year! I feel privileged to be able to meet and work with these children.
I was born and raised in South Korea by two very loving parents and a brother. When I graduated from elementary school, my family decided to venture to Canada to explore other parts of the world and open ourselves up to different opportunities. It was an exciting challenge to settle down in a different culture but I was blessed to be accepted into Canada.
I have always loved working with children! I have volunteered as a teacher for preschool children at church and I’ve been teaching piano to children ages 4 to 15. Working with children and having them open up to me and my teaching is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Now that I’ve graduated from the Early Childhood Education Program at Langara College, I genuinely believe that I learn more from children than what I can possibly offer them. I look forward to working with each one of the New Hope Childcare families!
